Early access

A booking page as good as your work.

Kertessa is booking software for hair salons, barbers, nail and beauty studios, aesthetics clinics, massage and tattoo studios. We are building it now, and the businesses on this list will be the first to try it.

Step 1 of 6

This sign up needs JavaScript, and this browser is not running it. Email bookings@kertessa.co.uk and we will add you to the list by hand.

Only the email is needed. Every other question can be skipped, and the whole thing takes under a minute.

We use it for early access only, unless you ask for more on the last step. How we use your email

What kind of business is it?

How many people work there, including you?

How do people book with you now?

Up to 300 characters

  • We keep your email, any answers you gave, and which boxes you ticked.
  • A cloud database company keeps them for us in the European Economic Area. We never sell them or use them for advertising.
  • We take you off whenever you ask, or 12 months after Kertessa opens to everyone.
How we use your email

You are on the list.

We will write to when Kertessa is ready for you to try.

Changed your mind? Email bookings@kertessa.co.uk and we will take you off the list.

What Kertessa will bring

How we use your email

In short: we keep your email to write to you about Kertessa early access, and to send news and offers only if you asked for them. We never sell it, and you can leave whenever you like. Open any part below for the detail.

Who keeps the list

Kertessa (kertessa.com) keeps this list and decides how it is used. Write to bookings@kertessa.co.uk about anything in this notice.

What we keep

Your email address; your answers, if you give any; which wording you agreed to for each box, and when; and how many times you have joined. To stop floods of sign ups from one place, we also keep, for about a day, a code made from your connection's internet address with a secret key. Our list never stores the address itself.

Why we keep it

To email you about Kertessa early access, because you agreed to that with the first box. To send you news and offers from Kertessa, only if you ticked the second box. To count everyone's answers together, so we know what to build first. The connection code is there to keep the list safe from automated floods, which protects everyone on it. Nothing about you is decided automatically.

Who else handles it

Two kinds of company help us run the list. A cloud database company stores it on servers in the European Economic Area, and keeps short technical logs of each request. A web hosting company serves this page; it sees your connection's internet address, as every web host does, and never receives your answers.

UK law recognises the European Economic Area as protecting personal data to the UK's standard. Where either company handles data anywhere else, such as in the United States, UK law requires safeguards for that, such as approved contract terms, and we use only companies that offer them. Ask us and we will tell you which companies they are.

When we start emailing, an email delivery company will send for us, and the first email will ask you to confirm the address is yours; until you do, we send nothing else. We never sell the list, show you advertising, or pass it to other businesses.

How long we keep it

Your entry stays until you ask us to take you off, or until 12 months after Kertessa opens to everyone, whichever comes first. We set that limit so the list never sits forgotten. The connection code goes after about a day.

Your choices

You can ask to see what we hold, to correct it, or to be taken off the list, and you can take back either agreement at any time, by writing to bookings@kertessa.co.uk. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
